Ive heard alot of corruption stories. I dont know weather any are true or not...

 

Once again, some people obviously don't read my posts closely enough. I said a few people are actually as busy as they claim to be, but only a few. If you can honestly tell me over 50% of the staff is busy almost all the time they are on, which for some is small enough already, then you have got to be joking.

As to whoever said it might look good on paper, it would look even better if someone actually took enough effort to DO SOMETHING. Like I said, actually get involved in the community you seem to care so much about, but for most, they could probably care less.

There are some people who do a very good job for the position they hold, but the majority of the staff do very little if anything.

Cheeter - patrols Runescape forums actively.
Cruel_Machine - owner of a major Cheating community, and sometimes posts in the programming sections, he is here mainly because when he does post they are some of the best posts/threads around.
Darkspark - Has a baby to take care of, and is working on Sythemills.
Durial20 - very active Graphics mod.
Phevil - also active Graphics mod.
R2Pleasent - Works in Market Area, and is working on Sythemills.
Rip City: Active Staff Lounge contributer, works in the Markets and Off topic.
Ryan: Works in Market Area
Shawn_: Works in the Something for All area.
Shredderbeam2: We are currently looking into what he does and may be demoting him soon.
Speljohan: Active in the programming section
Stevenadrien2: Active in the Runescape areas.
Town: Active in Community General, Markets, Programming sections, Dispute forums, and Staff area.
Ughster: Active in the Market areas and works on Sythemills.
Viny: Active in Off Topic, Runescape and Staff area.
Annex: Tech Admin, does disputes sometimes.
Clashfan: Great admin, does everything other than Tech.
FileFragg: Head of IRC and sometimes works on busting scammers.
Matt: Tech admin, comes up with good ideas.
Steph: See Clash.
Sythe: Does important things that you don't need to know about.
Unknown: Active in IRC, currently working on something private.
Atomic: Works in most sections.
Blizzind: Active in IRC, staff lounge, and Off Topic.
Daily500: Creative, and active in most sections.
Nuky D: Not so active, currently considering getting rid of him.
Pen: One of the most active moderators here, nothing more to say.
Shinoda: Active in Dispute forums, Community General, and sporadically other forums.
SMI: Active in Staff lounge and sporadically posts in other places. Graphics Guru.
SMR: See Pen.
Starblaster: Active in Scar sections, and a link between us and another cheating community. (See Cruel_Machine)
Tilex: Not so active, but has begun picking up the pace, and deals with infractions and Report a Scammer.
X9: Active in Off topic, and Report a Scammer.
Yakov (Me): Active in Staff lounge, and dispute forum, post in Community general, Something For All, sporadically post in Report a Scammer, Graphics and Off Topic.

Wow, I think I got more credit than I deserve in that post, but I guess I'll take what I can get. I only post in threads that interest me outside of the Scar forum and when I'm bored I go through and try to find people breaking rules.

And as a side note on Nuky D, he was considering himself being demodded. So that is why he is more inactive. "This place no longer interests him", as he says.

I'd also like to point out that Starblaster is also very active in staff threads and is somewhat involved in SytheMills, or offered to.

 

All you people who say you hear stories, or have things to say, just post them. This thread is here for a reason.

Yakov, I'm sorry to say, but you said active for almost everyone, locking a few threads a day and giving one or two infractions which takes about, what? 5 minutes, isn't considered active in my mind. Those stats can be quite slanted, and for a fact, some are very far off.

Yes of course, We're all corrupt, yet the forum runs fine. If it wasn't for us there'd be scammers everywhere.

So you expect us to stay on the site for 4+ hours moderating for no pay?
