just a quick design, not intended to be coded:

I know all too well how fucked up ugly the contact area is...

Smooth, however, the content could use a lighter text color and perhaps a different font.

Yes, the contact area is quite bad but only because of the scroller, it blends into the Background too easily.

You read need at least a couple of borders, it looks to open with the content and the Background of the content (not so much though).

Despite the bugs, it is very smooth and calm. Just the right balance for a Portfolio

Just remove the image at the bottom of the contact area. It'll look great.

Other than that... lookin' good.
