Phone Recommendation

I'm going to buy either of the 2 next Monday. Just wondering which one of the two you would recommend? Which is the better phone.

Apple 6S+
Samsung Note 5

 

If I was you I'd check out the LG G4, but that's just me.

It was either the Note or the G4, and I went for the G4. It's treated me nicely every since.

 

I have the iPhone 6S+ and absolutely love it, i would recommend it 100%

 

G4 isn't a phablet but that's the one I'd go for too. I have the G3 now and it's seriously great. If the G3 is THAT good I can only imagine the G4 being a better experience.

As for you OP, it depends. If you want excellent compatibility and flexibility and better hardware overall, go with the Samsung. The iPhone's hardware is sub-par and is basically a $1000 facebook brick, but some people are OK with that. If that's your thing go for the iPhone.

 

Check out the Google Nexus Line. I recommend the 5x. If you use T-mobile $30 unlimited data/text you'll save a shit-ton of money for top of line phones.

I got a Samsung Edge 6+. It is virtually the same in all specs as the note 5, except the distinguishing feature is the curved screen rather than the stylus. I would never use the stylus, it seems completely impractical.

 

Sometimes I can't even fucking believe how little money you guys pay for phone shit in the states. I had to fight tooth and nail to get Unl. international text + unl. nationwide calls + 2gb of data for $50/mo and I STILL had to buy my own phone on top of that. Zero subsidy. I'm so fucking sick of it dude.

@your suggestions though, the Nexus phones are great and all but OP is already looking at phablets and the Note 5 > 6p imo.

 

I feel you man, I spent 15 years of my life in Canada. Didn't even bother with a phone plan when I went to Western it was so expensive up there. (Not to mention my god knows how much in CAD savings rotting away to that exchange rate.)

I pay 25$/month for infinite text and calls on weekends and after 7. I only have this because I've been grandfathered in. If I try to upgrade my phone or add something to my plan the cell company insists I get rid of my 25$ plan and go for the 40$+ options lol

 

Note 5 is the best phone of 2015 hands down.

Apple 6S+ It will last you a long time and it has good specs. I'm still using my iPhone 5 and its still going strong

 

I'd definitely recommend the 6S+, I think it would last you quite some time. Well worth the purchase, man!
