Deers, moose, cows, and many other animals are slaughtered every day, and kept in harsh conditions. They're eaten, and we don't even care that what we're eating was once a living organism.
But why is it that when it comes to pet abuse, it's frowned upon? Kick your dog, and you'll be hated and your animal may be taken from you. Stab a deer, and you make profit off selling the skin and meat.
I'm completely against animal abuse, but just wondering, why do YOU think that it's okay to harm wildlife but not domestic pets?
After all, domestic pets were once wildlife, but trained to behave.
Edit: I'm not judging anyone who eats/kills animals, as I am a huge meat eater. This is just opened for debate, I want your opinions. Do you think that pet abuse is okay? Do you think that wildlife abuse is okay?
