We do not have any section for our personal discussions (not the problems).

Yes, we do have a General sub-forum and a Spam sub-forum, but I think it is inappropriate to pust such topics in them, let me explain why.

If we discuss about our personal expierence, for example, want to share our Travel memories, how did we spend our Holidays. General section is not for that, it is not used for personal topics. And if the topic is well made, there is no ''spam'' in it, I do not think it should go to spam section either.

So I suggest to create a Personal Sub-forum section. It does not need to be named like that, but you get the idea. Moreover, I think this idea would help to increase the activity on Sythe, would be very useful and would help to better known each other. Because now, it is really sad, when someone says wrong things about the other member because, and for some reason he has a wrong opinion about him.

    Sythe =/= Blog

If you want to start a blog go to blogger and start one, then post the link in a thread if someone wants to follow it. We don't need a personal section for people to share their memories, it is just a waste of space because they're special places around the internet already for this.

I will have to not disagree, but, in the same way as Nero recognize that Sythe is a forum and that in internet you can have your own blog. Tumblr or Blogger, or anything you'd like. You can even buy a domain, a hosting and use wordpress if you wanna look pro.

Sorry WeRnIS, no support on this one :(

We can leave the blog part out, the most important is the personal stuff.

That is still a blog though, a list of your personal experiences. A black market forum doesn't get activity by putting a section up for people to talk about themselves.

For example when I found a golden ring.
That topic did not look like a blog, such topics would be in that section.

I am not wanting to sound harsh, but who cares? Really? Why would the staff want to waste space on topics that are like when they could be introducing new markets or something that is going to draw real interest to the site.

    "Dear sythe,

today I found a wallet, it had money in it and an ID. So I returned it."

    or

    "Dear Sythe,

I got my licenses today. Whoo Hooo."

The section would be pointless and would pretty much be spam, because you will get trolled hard.

You could share that experience in Off-Topic > General. But listing many personal experiences in a thread? Why not just create a blog and link it in your siggy?

    i agree with tux^

you put forth a good argument wer, but the thing is that most of the threads would be spam. there wouldn't be much activity in that sub-section apart from pure spam.

on the contrary though, emperor, we have a forum for intelligent discussion etc. that are relatively active. The assumption that a black market cannot gain activity by things that do not necessarily involve money is incorrect. There are good arguments for both sides of this case, but i think i find the cons to be more than the pros.

A personal section isn't needed, honestly no one reads blogs and if they do it's because they have absolutely NOTHING else to do.

Personal discussion would be useless... I'll use the same example as above:

    "Dear sythe,

today I found a wallet, it had money in it and an ID. So I returned it."

No one cares, it would just be a section to gain post count.
