No it wasn't his own fault.. The problem/update should be put on robotz official website .. People are not expected to read the fucking sticky everyday.

If robotz knew there was a problem he should have out it on his official website..

You're saying "I only ran the bot for no more than 5 hours at a time, what did I do wrong."

It doesn't matter how long you run it for, Jagex won't let you off if they catch you using it: "Aw, he's only been on for 2 hours, little bit longer k billy?"

It's you're own fault mate.

 

It is very sad for me to add that rules of the game are very very well known, and once you start cheating you must acknowledge that you can be perm banned at any time, doesn't matter who made the bot, who reported you, how long you ran it, what matter is that : you botted ? you take the whole responsability to get banned.

This is really unfortunate, and i feel really bad for you despite what i said above.

 

I can't agree with you anymore, and I basically said the same thing in the robotz page. He knew what the rules were, and the penalties, and I bet there is more to it. He hasn't showed proof that he was banned only from that and when I got banned on one of my accounts they gave me 5 black marks. I know its easier to blame someone else, but you have to blame your self and acknowledge what you did wrong and learn from your mistakes. You probably weren't glancing at the screen a lot of the time, and they mentioned people getting banned more and robotz said, " You shouldn't use the bot til I get the bugs worked out in it." You didn't listen and now you have gotten what you deserve. I am sorry it happened to you, but I think it is complete and utter bullshit that you got banned for that.

Sucks to be you. This should be a lesson to all you kiddies that using bots is bad. Use scripts.

 

... The difference between being banned or not isn't in whether or not the bot uses scripts, it depends purely on the makers of the program or script being used.

Bots that don't have scripts have instructions inside the program code that tell it its objectives and what to do which is essentially what scripts do.

The only two real differences between scriptable and non-scriptable bots are:

1. - scriptable ones are more expandable and versatile because new autoing methods can be implemented via exterior scripts rather that having to write them into the program itself.
2. - non-scriptable bots are more reliable in terms of not having to compile scripts and worry that they are setup properly.

 

how long did it take them to ban you... like after using it for how many.days

i run mine about 2 and a half to 3 hours a day and im fine im stopping now tho... bc jagex is cracking down on them.

 

It does not matter on the hours you use.. its just that he got unlucky, somebody reported him or also jagex can detect it also, I myself got 10 black marks for a marco ban, but not with robotz

 

i think you shouldnt use his program. jagex knows about it now

Mod Murdoch, Mod Mark L and perhaps a few others are responsible for issuing the recent 5 black mark bans. The number of people they've caught is now at about 10.



To clarify, having auto-talker off doesn't give any protection from bot-busters, but at the moment it is preferred to switch it off because Jagex know exactly how it replies in certain situations so having it off prevents Jagex being able to identify you from a snapshot of activity. If they come into the game however, you will be just as vulnerable if you're away from keyboard as you would be with the auto-talker on.

It will be safe again once the update is ready, tomorrow. This kind of thing is unlikely to be a problem in the future, some of the tactics used by Jagex have been identified and weaknesses fixed, and the server will handle conversation so it's code will not be obtainable through reverse engineering. The new talker is much more sophisticated than the last one.

If there's any other vulnerability, which doesn't seem likely given the nature of the bans, we will know after the update.

If you are going to bot before then, I recommend sticking to telekinetic theatre.

If yours was 10 black marks then it's the first perm ban from MT2, the others who were bot-busted got 5 black marks each. I am wondering what may be different in your case, perhaps you had 5+ black marks to start off? It would be good to see a pic or some evidence to confirm it.

 

Very Nice Robotz planning to buy your pc and mta bot in the future also a note to nullware, I LOVE YOUR AUTO ALCHER GOT ME 94 MAGE IN A WEEK.. but it only did 4k-8k alchs and went off any ideas how to fix it so it does a certain number?

 

Isn't it possible that Jagex actually BOUGHT this bot? ..to see how it works/ automatically bust people.
