Pepsi in Glass

For some reason I tried the Pepsi in the glass bottle and it tasted different from the Pepsi in the cans. I'm not really sure why though. Why do you think this is? Is the flavoring different? The coca cola and Pepsi taste better in glass bottles than in cans. But the Fanta in the glass bottles tastes like crap.

 

IDK about pepsi, but I really prefer coke in cans.

 

For some reason I think it tastes better in Glass Bottles. And is there a difference in what they add?

 

I think I know what your talking about, it's kind of like the old school blend, I liked it when I had it too.
maybe it's increased in sugars or something.

 

There's no difference, except maybe the water that they use, which is why I prefer coke/pepsi in any other country.

 

I think the Pepsi they put into glass bottles is the "Throwback Pepsi", so it has real sugar instead of corn sugar.

Tbh I've never had pepsi in a glass, but i have had it in a bottle or a can. Both are quite good and their tastes are similar. Coke is also top notch as well on the soda scale.

 

I think all soda taste better in a glass.

Cans give a slight metalic taste. Also when you open the top there must be fragments of actual metal in the drink.

Glass generally tastes better for all drinks.

 

I have noticed this also, maybe because an ingredient in pespi is effected by the can? Not a clue but it totally tastes different. =S

 

They do taste different. It's just like how beer tastes different in bottles than cans. Coke in bottles tastes different too

 

I've always liked glass bottle drinks, but at the end of the day Pepsi still taste like a flat coke......

 

i know why its cause in the glass bottles they get frosted so all that coldness drips into your soda and plus they use real cane sugar instead of artificial.

 

Coke in a can always erodes a very very small amount of the can, it gives it an 'Iron' kind of taste, a little like blood.

 

coke is best in the glass bottles from mexico. First, glass is awesome. Second, cane sugar is dope.

 

It could be because of psychological reasons.

Inside the aluminum can you find 'polymer' which can absorb small amounts of taste from the soda.

As for the bottle: When creating plastic 'acetaldehyde' is produced, it can be transferred from the bottle to the soda, which can make you weak.

The glass bottle is the most "cleanest" soda.

I perfer in a glass much like my alcohol in a glass is much better, only drink cans when im out on street with friends.

 

I get something similar with Milk for some reason when I drink chocolate milk through a straw it's taste's better.

 

through a straw...dont see how that would effect it in the end result :L
