    No.

If you say yes, you actually did want to do it, but it was just in the back of your mind.

I don't believe peer pressure exists.

If you do then you haven't got very much self control...

Peer pressure isn't something you believe in. It's a concept, a proven idea. It's the pressure that your peers put on you. I believe in it, however, i have self control. I don't succumb to it.

    Peer Pressure

    Not exactly.

Peer pressure is just a word they use to associate people who drink or smoke and need a scapegoat to blame it on, so they say "Oh, well I was pressured."

We all know that's bullshit though.

Every single human is capable of making their own choices that are not interrupted by the influence of others.

    Peer Pressure

Peer pressure is a simple theory that has been developed only to cover up for the ignorant decisions that individuals make. To be under the influence of any drug or anti-depressant, alcohol, or any other influential substance, is only a voluntary and compulsive decision made by the influenced being. Peer pressure may also be referred to for attention, one may be offered a drug, only for the pleasure of becoming "cool" or "popular", yet fail miserably.

    Peer Pressure

So, what of the crazy man in the insane asylum who takes his medicine, simply because he is interrupted by the influence of the workers there, yet he doesn't want to take them in the first place?

    Is he capable?

The only pleasure? What of the kid who is simply in the wrong place at the wrong time, and succumbs to the taunts and pressure of others, simply because he/she is scared of what they may do if he/she did not do whatever? Do they wish to become "cool", or "popular", or do they simply fear for their physical, and mental well-being? I believe you know the answer, however, the point is that peer pressure isn't only based around wants and pleasures.

Take my word. He's not your friend.

See would this be considered peer pressure?...you go to a party and you get drunk..So you are currently drunk and people start talking you into weed ...and you give in..would that mean that you fell into peer pressure..that you really wanted to do it..or you only did it because you were drunk?...cause if it's a group of hot girls say who wanted you to do something I would be pressured into doing it, because the benefits out weigh the cons..

What are the benefits? You get to be a fucking lab-rat for a group of girls? It's not like if you drink what they tell you to, you'll get sex. Things don't work that way.

Anyways, when you're drunk, your brain is clouded, and you can't make decisions as easily, or as wisely, as you would when you aren't drunk. However, your peers are still pressuring you, so yes, it is.

Peer pressure is an excuse for morally disabled losers to do things they don't want to in hopes of raising their social status. I'm cool enough and I don't drink or smoke cigarettes.

It's just an excuse used by people who are too weak to make their own decisions.

    That's all it is.

Of corse peer pressure exists, its just the fact of are you strong enough to say no? Peer pressure is all around us, and you just need to be smart enough to say no. If you say yes, and go along with it, you might deserve what happens because of it :\

    Peer Pressure

Being offered it and being around people who are doing drugs is two completely different things. There is always peer pressure on any kid or maybe evan any adult who has freinds. The kinds of friends you have determines what kind of peer pressure you have. If you have good friends most of the time they will persuade you to do things good and the opposite if you have bad friends.
