PC: 15-year vet without stats

Not an actual price checking but... Is a 15-year veteran account without stats worth more than one with stats?

I am asking about it because I am kinda torn about training on my very first account, which has no stats since I played during the RS2 beta

 

iv'e personally seen this accounts go for 5$-10$ each without stats, and just username login

 

Yeah but it's not that much.. I mean, what if I train those stats up to a max cape without quests, for example?

I had this plan in my mind for ages, but my friends told me it's better to keep the account as it is now, since it looks cool. I wonder. 5$-10$ is still pretty bad anyway.
