Paypal Negative

Hello guys. around a month ago a kid charged me back $74.80 here the report Rolly Rolly Scammer. today I got a call from paypal from a collector. what I suppose to do now? I lie to the collector to seek for help from anyone from here. the account have no information from me just my name but no number of my phone even though idk how they got it and a wrong address. but the problem is that, that account have my IP. what should I do?

 

Paypal can and will send debt collectors to the person who owns the bank account connected to the Paypal. Experienced it myself. I even tried to contact my own bank and told them to completely block anything coming from Paypal and they told me they couldnt do so.

So pay or have debt collectors come at your door in a bit.

Still. They know your IRL details as they already contacted you. Sooner or later they will stop calling and start visiting to collect the debt. The best thing you can do is to just pay it.

 

If they know your number they probably know where you live. It'd be better to pay it off before the debt collectors come

 

if you havent verified you are probably fine, anybody could make a PayPal account with ur name. They are just trying to pressure you to pay. Tell them straight up your not paying and you have nothing to do with it.

If you make another PayPal u might wanna use a different IP tho. PayPal isnt like a bank their just a dumbass company.

 

I got charged back by two different people many moons ago through eBay for FIFA Coins.

One charge back I saw submitted the video of me selling the coins and I won the dispute.

The other I didn't see fast forward a few months and PayPal are ringing me up trying to collect the money they're owed.

At the time I was 16, when I told them that they just writ the debt off, I'm pretty sure they can't go after someone under 18 - in the U.K. at least.

Could be worth telling them you're underage and seeing what happens although lying and being found out will only land you in more trouble.

DISCLAIMER: This could be potentially very bad advice, I would advise paying if you can do so $80 isn't a massive amount of cash.

Yeah but I just opened a new one straight away and was fine, their security is really lacklustre.

This was like 7/8 years ago though.

You can cancel the standing order/direct debit easy just ring your bank or go into a branch

And the debt collector has no real powers they can not doing anything nothing nutting not a thng! now if it was a high court enforcement officer it would be different

Its underscored debt ignore them bud if you haven't got it and believe it or not if you cant aford it just fuck em off bud they cant do anything!

 

Really depends on the country, where i live debt collector can take your money without even notifying you, but i agree with you that paypal can't and won't do shit in that case

 

I used to have a paypal accout with -$15 balance. After a little while, they just closed the account

I got charged back a while ago when i sold rs gold to someone, was -$130 but had my real number along with 7 fake addresses and 1 real one, it's been around 9 months and all i've recieved from debt collectors was an automated email.
