PayPal.. Negative Balance.

Alright, here is the run down of my situation.

I was MMing a trade here (won't elaborate who or what), but they sent the money to an Australian PayPal account of mine, which I forwarded to my United States account (which is credit card verified). I sent the money to the seller of the item, which worked fine. Ten minutes later, the sellers account and both my accounts were limited and the cases are being reviewed.

Basically my account has been left with a -$XX.XX balance because I forward the money out.

Here is where my question comes in.. What will they do?

• The credit card is a pre-paid card.
• I don't have a bank account.
• I've already linked my SSN with an old account that's been limited (so I can't reuse it - rendering their appeal process impossible).
  
• I can't mail the check.
• I can't add funds (because they limited my account).

At this point, I just honestly want to get the negative balance gone so nothing legal can happen. I can't close my account or remove anything either.

Please help.

 

nothing, i have had one with $-50 for 3years, the worst thing that will happen is you may eventually get an email asking you to pay or they will contact debt collectors, However they arn't gonna bother doing anything if its under $1,000usd and even then they may not

 

This actually happened to a friend of mine and debt collectors called his phone, threatening to collect and prosecute and blah blah blah. This almost a year ago, and we havent heard a thing since. I remember how scared he was LOL.

 

I honestly don't know, I had negative balance for a while but the dispute thing got closed in my favor.

 

That's strange...but I just had someone claim against me before he talked to me about anything. So I was -$97. But I was selling some stuff on Ebay and it negated it all down luckily.

But his paypal is being reviewed and i have the 2 claims still opened.

Just call Paypal and see what can be done.

 

Dont get scared they cant do you any fuck their system is full off bullshit i mean come on you sell something he pays you than you check next day he got his money bank thanks for scamming paypal ...

 

Call them and pay your debts, or it will fuck you in the ass later.

Having a negative 50 dollar debt on paypal will never effect your future credit lmao. Someone pays you then takes there money back and your account has only a 50-60 negative balance who cares nothing will ever happen just say fuck paypal and stop using paypal simple

 

Just ignore the stupid debt collecters call and then ask you to call back then you call back and get no reply.
Ive even visited the headquarters of the debt collectors before lol and they still were useless so just get a new paypal.

 

I have the exact same feeling as your friend. I sent an e-mail to PayPal regarding what happened, and I'm waiting for a response. Pending the response, I'll decide if I should call them.

My problem is my account is limited now, so I can't even accept payments, so I'm limited to sending it a cashiers check (which I can't).

I have no intention of skipping out on it. I want to know how to fix it.

One of my accounts are -200 atm. Stupid people claiming back their cash... Anyways all I did was remove my bank card, and change my personal info and let it slide lol. Hope this helps,

 

They generally won't do anything especially in a case like this they probably just flagged your account because it looked like simple laundering. I used to deals with numerous transactions when I dealt with virtual payments/online support and seen this happen all the time. At most they will call your phone a few times and threaten to forward your information to a debt collector.

But do they send the information to a debt collector or is it all just threats?

 

Don't worry, I also have a negative account, I sold an account and he got the money back instantly. Luckily I had a fake address etc. But I doubt they will do anything serious if it's under $500

 

Im sure if you ring them and just explain what happened they will find some way for you send them the owed money, I wouldnt not pay though they'll probably fuck you over somehow if you dont.
