PayPal fucking sucks.

Did somebody charged you back or something?

 

I've had 12 chargebacks this week, I should have a balance of +$450 or so.

Paypal is a pain in the ass, i opened one up for one sale and want to remove my bank and all info but it aint letting me -.-

Thanks for the link, but I'm not retarded, I require proof of identity before selling via PayPal. Doesn't seem to be working, as PayPal doesn't have seller protection for digital sales.

I've had the same in the past. As user you're able to change your name somehow when giving up an address, I think this is done by adding an address.

You can bypass this by starting a payment request, here the name of the owner is displayed. You don't have to send them a request, name will show up before accepting.

Also Paypal does not support digital good sales. You'd either use PA or be very careful to who you sell.

Oh wow that sucks to hear, I opened up a paypal and thought I was one of those people who may be lucky enough not to get charge backed, luckily I've only ever been charge backed $60 which was enough to make me think twice about selling to people with less than 25 vouches.

 

Problem being a lot of my PayPal sales come from unpopular currency from games like RSPS and Xbox, so PA won't work. I use MoneyBookers where possible, but a lot of my customers aren't of legal age so they cannot open an account.
I'm sure I'll win the cases as it's been around 50 days since most of the disputed transactions, but it's still infuriating to have such insecurity on these payments. Business has come to an almost absolute standstill because of it.

 

Ever looked into accepting mobile payments? Payout rating and 3 months waiting time really sucks but most youngsters don't really care and it's easy to use.

I'm using Onebip myself for handling mobile phone orders. If you don't want to wait 3 months I can buy Onebip funds instantly with Paypal / Mb. Link to my thread
