Big avatars

Yeah, yeah, I know I had one just like a week ago, but it's pissing me off. I sent Ben(wise90) the link to my suggestion, saying $25+ donators should be able to have bigger avatars. Well, he said "you can just PM me the avatar you want and I'll set it", so I got what I wanted. A few people asked me how I got it, so I told them the truth, I said to them "I PM'd a global", and now 10+ people have them, and they aren't even $25+ donators. If it's so easy as to you can just PM a global, no matter who you are, why isn't the limit already higher?

Oh yeah, everybody that stole Gohan's DBZ gif idea is trying way too hard. Take it off.

 

I agree $25+ donators should atleast get the limits of 110x110 as they have no different perks then $5 donators, and globals should not be able to change peoples size.

$25 needs a perk. This is the perfect example.

Even if it isn't given as a $25 Perk, it should not be for anybody too request. Imagine the chaos for Globals. Pms flying in from hundreds of people asking for a better avatar size.

 

Support. Why allow big avatars in the first place? Perhaps allow a few more pixels as you donate more.

All donators...theres like none of them as there are now...why not. Or any ranked member (excluding TWC)

Whenever I saw HeavenLords large avatar, I thought it was only moderators that could have a bigger avatar until I found out that you could PM a Global.

I support it being a $25+ donator perk.

 

I only do it for mods and 50+ donators, I don't have a problem with it being a perk for 25+ donators but I'm not going to set it for them unless it becomes an official perk.

 

people just want a reason to try to be better or cooler then everyone else. This is really retarded don't support this crap.

I didn't know it was a big deal, I could just switch them back...I assumed since others had it, it was fine...

 

Ideally I'd like this to only be for $50+ donators or mods. After all, it is a perk, you want there to be some draw towards it.

You're just saying that because you were lucky enough to get one.

I'm fine with even sectionals being granted a bigger avatar, but if everyone can just PM a global and get one, they might as well just raise the limit.

Like I said, it's not 'special' if just anybody can get them. You should only give them to high dollar donators or mods, imo.

$50 already has a perk(custom usertitle) while $25 has no perk, except for the ones that all donors get.

 

I'd definitely support $25+, on the condition that I can keep mine.

 

$50+ already have the custom user title perk... where as $25 have nothing different then a $5 donator does...

 

If you are going to make it avaliable to anyone just change it to make larger avatars avaliable on the avatar changing window. 80x80 sucks ass.

 

I don't agree, there will be to much confusion and people would complain.

But you're right, and Ben just didn't see it as much of a big deal. You obviously feel very strongly about it, and he's said he'll stop doing it.
