Jagex Mod Cracking Down on Gold Sellers

My gold seller hasn't been banned, yet. What about yours?

 

10b isn't that much if the attacks are widespread.

 

10b is not at all a significant number all things considered. I am reminded of their RS3 bot busting streams, in which they barely got 100k per bot throughout the hourlong streams.

There is really nothing more they can do, they already sell gold/bonds themselves, if people chose to buy gold from third party sellers this is not going to stop them. I think announcements like these are just for show, so it at least seems as if they are taking some kind of initiative. I would not worry about it.

 

10b dmm valued at 12$/m is over 120,000$. I kind of doubt that goldsellers continue to sell DMM if they've collectively taken a 120,000$ hit from it lol.

 

Thats quite a big hit to take if its true.

I wouldn't be surprised if upwards of 1m worth of 07gp has been banned out of the game.

As long as there is profit someone will be buying and selling

 

Highly doubt those stats are specific to deadman mode.

 

I logged in our mules just to check after reading this lol.

Our 2 mules are linked to a max rs07 main & a voider worth $250.


So yeah, I would of legit been furious if I lost $1k lol.

This isn't DMM. There probably isn't even 10b dmm in the game for gold sellers to have, considering the last update Jagex said the highest cash stack was 25m.

 

They take gold off of gold sellers and do nothing with it. How does this help anyone? They're punishing a small handful of people for no reason at all and this game would be much worse off if IRL gold trading wasn't allowed. Weath makes far less annually than the top gold sellers do so I wonder who's really "" here

 

That's a lot of cash feel sorry for anyone caught up in it.

 

10b 07 is ~$10k, spread over the mass amount of RWT accounts/companies isn't a lot at all

07 makes a lot more sense. Still though, 10k in a week seems to be a fair bit.

 

10k a week combining all the total gold sellers and buyers is peanuts lol. You have no clue how much gold is actually sold on a daily basis. I work for just one website and i see 10b in attempted gold sales every day easily. Im not saying we buy 10b i just see that much traffic being sold daily. Now lets think about the 500 gold selling websites that funnel in all the google traffic... 10b is a drop in a swimming pool.


Approximately 80b 07 has been dumped into the market over the last 30 days just from a small group of stakers who cleaned 1 huge whale.

 

I know, but it's still something for sure. If every major goldseller took a hit of 500$, and some minor ones loosing a couple hundred, it could definitely hurt a worker if they're splitting ban rates.

I've increased my price because of this and the demand for Christmas.
