Patched and Unpatched Glitches

hey guys need to know if this glitch im trying to do is unpatched or patched. and whether im doing it wrong.

Its for luring, the souvenirs mug glitch. Where u have someone folow u and then you polish it and they are suposed to be moved back like 20 feet. i dont know if this works still or not.

That's not really a glitch lol

 

I strongly assume a person following you isn't meant to jump back a number of tiles when you rub the mug...Which would mean it is a glitch.

On topic: I assume it still works. Have a few friends that do that in Red Port, if I see them on this evening I'll ask them.

 

Ok thanks it's just I've seen a lot of people do it in red portal on YouTube to get people in for their items and such, and as I was practicing it tonight it wasn't working for me.
