Past, Present, and Future Bots of Old School RS

During your research you probably clicked on something dodgy, and ended up with a RAT or keylogger. I've been in the industry for over 5 years now, and every story similar to yours, no matter the bot accused, it's always the same root problem. Honestly, you're the first person I've even heard of accusing Topbot for malicious software. I think you need to calm down, admit that you screwed up somewhere and got infected with something, use Avast's boot-time scan (fuck your other anti-virus, do what I'm saying) or reformat your computer. In the future, use Avast!'s Free Antivirus, the live shield should be good enough to prevent you from having issues later on.

Back on topic to the OP, I will be updating the OP very soon, I've been traveling a lot lately, so I apologize for the delays.

I'm sorry to hear that you were keylogged. I can assure you it is not TopBot since I just scanned my own PC a week or so ago after university ended with Avast and MalwareBytes and found nothing. Phishing attempts are getting better and better and more and more people get caught up in them.

I've also changed the RiD section to reflect the new payment system. With the release of Genesis, there will not be any free bots. There will be a free trial which resets every month, assuming the trial was completely used up during that month. Other than that, any usage will be paid on a premium subscription system.

 

Would just like to update, Octobot has been shut down. The devs have given the source to 2 scripters who stated that they have no plans on re-releasing the client. Should move it to 'past' for accuracy purposes.

Lack of scripts, meh. Virtually undetectable though.

 

Ye true but it is really easy to write your own scripts.
It is less user friendly though
