PA's Ban Dispute

Reason for my ban: I asked a Global and they told me the thread could have been moved to Personal Support before the Xen transition (it was originally posted in Market Discussion, which is not a bannable offense). I am banned for bringing Bus369's eyesight issue into SF, which was later in Personal Support.

I understand that bringing information from the Personal Support forum leads to a 1 month ban, but I edited the slander out because I felt like I went too far. I did show remorse for my actions before I was even punished and I'm still willing to admit that I shouldn't have gone that far. The only unjust bit of this is that the rules should be enforced upon everyone or nobody.

The problem is I wasn't the only one attacking Bus369 in SF, nor the only one breaking rules.

To summarize, I was banned for saying something I shouldn't have said in Spam Forum. A lot of people were attacking Bus369, not just me. I edited my posts because I was remorseful and felt that I went too far. If I'm to stay banned for a whole month, less, or even the whole ban be removed, so be it. What's done is done; whatever punishment I get is what I deserve.

I don't think you can just state that other people were doing similar things, which appears to be the backbone of your dispute. You're responsible for your own actions.

I'm going to stay out of it, considering you're a friend of mine I think it would be better that I don't make a vote.

 

I would say a 1 month ban may be a bit severe for this offence.

I somewhat agree with this aswell the context of the ban is that he used information that would not have been known without personal support forum to attack Bus in the spam forum and it was interpreted as releasing his personal information. I don't know if that rule is really applicable here.
