Partyhat prices decreasing, will they rise again?

I see the partyhat prices are decreasing a shit load, are they going to go back up?

 

Jagex themselves control the Grand Exchange. So, as long as more Partyhats are in circulation, the prices will continually decrease. We'll never know however.

Of course... Phats are just gonna get rarer as people get banned, they're dropped etc. They will never decrease and stay like that.. Why do you think christmas crackers are so rare? Because hardly anyone has them...

 

they will decrease because as more people play runescape, wealth increases for the whole runescape economy. which means prices get inflated

What you are seeing right now is a case of supply and demand, that's all. People who are getting older don't care to have their accounts anymore, and are selling off their party hats. They quickly realize no one will buy a party hat at 100 million GP, so they sell it for less. Now you'll find a competitor looking to sell for even less, to get their trade through, and we're off in a decline of pricing.

At some point all these people who control the market on Party hats are going to realize what they have done, and stop selling for so cheap, and you'll see prices rise - quickly, and steep. Things will go back to normal.

Purple p hats dropped to 53 mil then raised again to 90mil. It's the economy at the moment, As the prices are decreasing the demand increases by price divided by normal price.
