Pardoning
So I was reading a couple of pardons and the option to refund the $ scammed to an unrelated report was brought up as a solution for those trying to pardon but aren't able to contact their victims, so what happens if the person who originally scammed the person who is now refunded tries to pardon? his money now goes onto a different-unrelated report? Or if the victim who was actually meant to receive the refund comes back after the month from a vacation or something? is he out a refund for not being available? just wondering. sorry if this should go in the spam forum, genuinely curious.

Could we get that in english?

You must attempt to contact victims for at least a month prior to pardoning. Should they come around after you successfully pardoned, they still need to be paid. If that is what you're asking...

If (just for shits and giggles) you scammed someone, and tried to refund them, but they were away for a month, so the money you were supposed to refund them now goes to an unrelated-victim so your pardon can go up to voting, does your original victim get fucked ? edit: I can see how my OP is confusing, but maybe try using that little brain in your head.. if anything you can just always come to the dice-lounge and give me your $ :).. Or keep dicing mini's l0l.

Wtf do you mean original victim? You have to pay out all of your victims once they reach out to you.

If you pay 1 out of 5 of your victims before successfully pardoning and the other 4 come back later, you still have to pay them when they attempt to collect.

you're obviously unaware of what im talking about so keep your opinion out of here..
go look @ aspects pardon, and luckydogs, IF the person they originally scammed doesnt come forward within the month the money aspect originally scammed is going to an unrelated-victim.

You're picking 1 instance where the person who WAS SCAMMED is using blackhat against other community members, so they chose to cycle the money through to another member of the community who has a loss of $. I'm telling you what 99.99% of the cases end in in the Pardon section.

A user must attempt contact with a victim for at least 1 month prior to pardoning, then if their pardon is successful or declined, those victims who were not paid/away/inactive at that time are still due for reimbursement.

From how I've read pardons in the past, the $ you scammed and then refunded get's donated to Sythe so if the victim does come back he possibly gets a donor rank instead?

No. We don't allow donations to Sythe as a way of paying back. Basically, to get a pardon you must refund the member you scammed. If the member you scammed was also banned for scamming or similar, then the money will go to a random victim from another scammer.

If someone is refunded for a report that wasn't related to them, they won't be refunded twice if the actual person that scammed them tries to pardon, the money will be moved to another scam victim.

Basically, whatever we can do to get victims their money back. It's no longer "Held by Mods" or "Donated to Sythe."

Also, don't know why you posted this here, moved.

There's been more than once instance even recently. I guess you wouldn't know since the majority of the time you're posting them for having scammed people and lying out of your ass despite the fact that you've still admitted to less than half of what you've done, rather than reading them.

On topic what you're referring to, as far as i've seen only happens as a last resort if there's next to zero chance of contact or if the person who is owed money is by no means deserving of a refund due to any number of reasons, the main one usually being they've scammed someone but there is no contact information for their victim as they're either inactive, banned for a non-scamming related reason or the scam took place offsite. It doesn't happen often but i'm pretty sure the staff only do this when there's zero chance that the actual victim deserves the money so there is no worrying about "what if they come back" because they either likely won't be allowed back or even if they are, they've more or less forfeited their right to a refund.
