Of course the PayPal email will say that it was not accessed by a third party DURING my transactions with Cupcakes as I paid that myself and therefore have no conflict at the time. It was only accessed by someone else a few days later, in which that person made the dispute themselves in order to change my password and ruin my account (it activates or triggers a new password and questions after an unauthorised transaction claim/report.)

I was only made aware of the situation when I saw Cupcakes attempts to file a report in scythe: fragrance did a charge back. which happened 5 days after our transactions. If you'd kindly checked my conversation with Cupcakes, I immediately contacted Cupcakes to try and explain my situation and reassured that I will return the account immediately if I somehow won the dispute, which I had very little chance since I couldn't access my PayPal to even provide evidence or cancel the dispute. In addition, I did try calling PayPal to resolve and explain my situation with them, but someone already claimed my account as their own and therefore I was not able to close the dispute myself or reclaim my account back. As a result, I was only left with one choice and that is to contact my bank and cancel my VISA, so that no other transactions can be made. I kept contact with Cupcakes to try and make it work, but Cupcakes wouldn't have any of it as you can clearly see with the exchanges we have in our conversation.

I have more than 70+ vouchers and I have sold over 26.5 bil RS3 gold, and have made bigger transactions than $55, so my account and reputation is worth more or more important than a mere $55 transactions. I have no intention of scamming Cupcakes and it only happened because my PayPal was unfortunately hacked. Why else would I contact Cupcakes, explain the situation and reassured Cupcakes that I will return the account back or make it work by possibly paying through it some other way back if my intent was to scam Cupcakes in the first place? Please consider my appeal or pardon and thanks for your time.

 

Well this is the purpose of the pardon process. We look at your trading history and your justification for the events that happen and we determine whether or not you are able to be let back. I have read your conversations with cupcake and I can verify that much it is just strange that paypal would not let you recover your own account presumably you would have had access to the emails on file. I have never heard them tell the owner of an account that "someone else has claimed ownership of your paypal" that really makes absolutely no sense to me especially since they would have IP logs and such. I also find it strange that someone would hack your paypal and then use it to chargeback payments you had already sent because those would just go back to the original funding source if they won.

Do you have any email logs from paypal or anything that can help corroborate your story?

Sorry for the late reply, I just saw this now..

You're misunderstanding the situation here a little.

-The hacker filed an unauthorized transaction claimed for the purpose of setting a new password and a new questions thereby bypassing my own set of questions in recovering the account. (After you file an unauthorized transaction claim, it will force you to set a new questions and a new password.) It could have been any of my transactions, but Cupcakes was simply a collateral damage and was my latest or recent purchase.

-When I said I called PayPal to claim my account back, they said that someone else already called them via by phone to claim the account as their own and hence mine was denied and therefore they couldn't based it on the IP address like you said. The hacker already has access to my recent purchases, email on card, phone number, and last 4 digit number of my visa card which is sufficient enough to claim/reclaim an account by phone in Paypal. So you could see how easy it is for the hacker to claim my account as his own?

-You can't collaborate a story on a hack not even in email, and unless you've actually been hacked it's all assumption at this point. You guys are the judge and jury and all I ask is a second chance. In the last two-three weeks, I already have lost my main neopets account worth more than $250 from purchasing a BD pet, my paypal account was hacked and now my scythe account has been banned as well. I just can't seem to catch a break. All I can say at this point is that I really don't have anything to gain from disputing my transactions with Cupcakes and here are the main reasons why:

1) Cupcakes undersold the account for $55 since the faerie stamp avatar collection alone is doubled the price or worth more than that: Faerieland Stamp Avatar Set – Neopoints.in and other sites.
2) Cupcakes already won the dispute and there was no actual scam that happened or even an opportunity for one and I did say I was going to return the account if by some miracle I won that dispute, therefore there was no harm done, just delayed in payments.
3) Scythe has made me some good money and I have more to sell in the near future, so why would I jeopardize that at all? Like I said, I've sold over 26.5 mil and have done multiple transactions bigger than $55. I don't want my hard work of getting reputations and vouches to go to waste for a mere $55 transaction.

I really hope you consider unbanning my account. I worked so damn hard on my account and for it to go to waste on something that wasn't even my doing is just wrong. All I can ask is a chance to redeem myself and if you have to watch my account very closely, then so be it.

 

I'm personally skeptical of the whole thing but the pardon process is for the whole staff team to vote on and that said, this pardon can move into voting
