PA.. *Sigh*

The person successfully charging back PA is doing it via MoneyBookers, the same way he was able to charge back Tiemen/Arcus fo payments sent via direct MB.

Hopefully they get this sorted out, just cancelled a $100 PA trade just in case...they owe me about $100 but disbursed about $200 to me on November 9th.

 

I got some of my PA payments. I assume their trying their best, but their just verifying everything. Because of the people getting around their system.

 

I received 240$ yesterday night and 630$ last night. They are paying back.

I've actually been paid out for a few of my payments. I honestly think their paying me out correctly now, give or take a couple of payments.

 

I think they were just blindsided by MB just like a lot of our gold sellers here. things should get back on track fast.

 

Why can't PA take all the precautions with money bookers as they do with PayPal?

 

Guess that's what they fixed now.

PA isn't safe either I guess..

 

PA's 100% safe, if there's a chargeback they cover the loss. It's their own fault for not being thorough with verification, that's why they charge a 10% fee so they can pay people to check these things

 

I ment PA's system isn't secure anymore. there's hackers around who buy trough PA with hacked paypals (they create PA accounts themselves)

 

If you think this is the first time someone has tried to use hacked Paypals on PA, you're sorely mistaken. They are quite good at preventing Paypal fraud.

However, it seems like they really dropped the ball on MB payment processing. Their system required minimal (if any) verification for MB payments (even big payments). MB frauders (such as the Sythe user DoarMb) used this loophole to attack the system.

A hacker like DoarMb can easily change IP routinely, and make tons of PA accounts. I'm sure he did tens of thousands of dollars in damage in a matter of a few days.

However, in this case, PlayerAuctions is still responsible. They cleared the payments for delivery.

 

I got my $40 disbursement that was queued recently. Looks like things are getting back on track.

 

I don't think their back on track honestly.. Their still not sending out payments correctly.

 

MoneyBookers should carefully investigate this, somehow hackers obtain huge amounts of hacked MoneyBookers accounts.
I think MoneyBookers already did something for it, and now PA only need to catch up.

I've sent them now all the screenshots they requested, around 48 hours previous. I have not, recieved any reply nor notice since. Live support have requested my email, and when I mention it they immediatly disconnect, I'm fairly certain I won't be seeing that $900 anytime soon.
