    Owning a company

I'm 23, I own a company that should be going live in less then a month. I have a scheduled meeting with an accountant this week but would like to know if any of you guys are into business and what's some tips/ good ways to organise your tax and income. I'm terrible with money as it burns a hole in my pocket faster then anything and have a strong suspicion that this is going to be the pay day for me.
It is an online business directory (people pay for advertising on our page) we will be marketing the shit out of it to go against Australia's biggest competitors in the online marketing and advertising industry.
Advice and tips much appreciated :)

If you have enough money there isn't much you have to do.

    1) Use a filing company to create a LLC for you, costs a couple hundred dollars and has its legal benefits (Or whatever the Australian version of it is). Can also file to copyright your logo/name. Have an attorney on retainer to answer legal questions, prepare documents, and generally cover your ass.

    2) Use an accountant/accounting software to handle your finances. Use some kind of payment processor to deal with payments.

    3) Find a developer to create and maintain your website. Also some kind of security specialist to help keeps things locked down.

    4) Find/Hire a graphic designer for logo's, advertising material, site material, etc.

    5) Find someone to improve your SEO, manage your social media accounts, and market your service in general.

It'll be somewhat costly up-front depending on your income, but you can get a really great end-product without having all the expertise yourself.

for payments, if you want to accept credit cards and stuff, theres this app called "square" where you basicly plug a card reader in the headphone jack and it allows you to accept credit payments

You gotta be careful with Square - there have been reports of account termination "with no warning and/or having funds withheld for up to 180 days", just from a quick Google search. Especially for small businesses, this is a pretty noticeable impact so just be wary and make sure you do your research
