Need the help of people who are good in math

So my question is: I used an account to stake who has 90 attack, 90 strength, 92 defence, and 91 hitpoints. Now, my enemy had 75 attack, 96 strength, 74 defence and 98 hitpoints. These stakes were all whip only, no dds. I put up 10m to his 8m, 5x in a row and I won all 5.
Now heres where the math people come in. My friend claims I got very lucky, and it was his odds not mine. I am not very good at math so yeah that's the question, who had better odds me or my opponent?

The odds were heavily in your favor.

You had 18 combat skill levels on him (mainly coming from your attack and defence, two extremely important stats for staking.) I'd say that it shouldn't come as a surprise that you won every bet.

The odds were definitely weighed much more to your favor. For those stats, I would probably want a 2x if I were your friend.

Seeing as you were 16 combat levels up on him, as well as having higher attack to hit him and higher defence to block him, you had a huge advantage. I'd have requested 2x if I was staking in that situation.

Uhm... yeah no offence to the above posters, but the numbers do lie in this situation. Attack and defence don't matter nearly as much as hitpoints, and keep in mind OP was 1.25xing.

I would still say that it was in your advantage, but only just barely.

Only real advatage I see is him having the HP levels. The strength is nice, but doesn't do a lick of good in staking without some attack levels to back it up.

You deserved to win every stake. The dumbass that bet you deserved to lose his. Lol

Low attack vs high defence and him having high attack and the other guy having low defence > 7 hp levels. Other guy would have been hitting much less accurately and realistically only would have won very rarely due to lucky pid in my opinion.

I agree with most of the folks on here that the odds were heavily in your favor. If I were your opponent, I wouldn't even have staked you in the first place unless you offered some insane x amount, like 3x or something.

I'd personally have chosen your opponent's account over yours. I'd personally prefer the higher max hit & strength levels but if I HAD to guess, I'd say the stake was about a 50-50 chance. Your need to X was completely unnecessary but I'm glad you won :).
