I am from the UK and was just about to purchase a very good computer from newegg at a great price. I quickly checked the FAQ's before I entered my card details etc. and I realised they only ship inside the USA.

That has really annoyed me, and now I am looking for a site similar to newegg, but one that ships to the UK. I have used ebuyer.com in the past and they were pretty good, but they are no where near as cheap as newegg.

    Suggestions?

You could pay extra to have someone ship it to their house and then send it to you.

You can check out http://ncix.com/. Not sure if they ship to the UK, but they have good prices.

How much do you think that would cost?

Also, I don't know any Americans that I would trust with a computer..

    Thanks I'll take a look.

I don't know, maybe there is some service to re-route it back to england. Check out places like USPS, UPS, Fed-Ex. Im sure if you called these places they'd assist you somehow

Hmm, I might look into it.

Although, I do have some family that lives in America. I wouldn't know how to go about contacting them though, or if they'd be happy to do it or not. I may look into that also.

Trying to find out if NCIX ships to the UK before I look at any items ^_^

I'd do it for you for just to cost of shipping, if you'd like. I sell on eBay quite a bit so I'm at the post office frequently anyways. I know I'm not "trusted" that well on this site, but I had an idea. I'll list the item on eBay for the price that you're paying for the computer (send me a link), and you purchase it from me. I'll then buy the computer with the money (you're safe since it's through eBay), and once it gets to my house I could just send it over to you. Of course, then there's eBay fees which, if it's an expensive computer, could be something like $20-$50. If you really want it done though, I'd be happy to help you out.
