[OSRS] How quickly do you get banned after RWT?

I read it’s highly unlikely to be banned for RWT, but I’m always concerned to see how likely you are to be banned for RWT.

I’ve also heard that the MODs are going light on banning player right now in general. But, my basic question is how soon are you to be banned after a RWT incident/action?

 

Depends on how you trade, where you trade, what combat level you trade on, what country you are trading from. (I don't recommend using vpn's). I personally have not been banned for a few years now.

In terms of gold it's pretty safe I would say just don't make it obvious.

 

I've been scripting/botting/RWTing for roughly two years now and I just got hit with my first RWT ban a week or so ago.

So I may have been extremely lucky to last that long until a ban OR the bans are just that unlikely.

I haven't ever been banned for RWT (aside from purchasing an infernal cape without using new methods) and I have purchased and sold gold many times.

Botting however, I usually last 1-3 weeks max until the account gets a ban.

 

Where did you acquire the LIGHT banning information. If Jagex catches someone breaking the rules they won't hold back.

In terms of ban rates, it depends how smart you are. If you're reckless then you'll be banned fairly quickly. I personally haven't received a RWT ban for a few years now.
