OSRS gold price crashing?

Hello guys

Why the price of gold is crashing so fast? Because of revs? Vorkath?

 

I think it's because of the upcoming duel arena update

 

The Fed lowered rates

 

Wouldn’t that make it higher though considering its a goldsink? I think its because of all the gold coming into the game through revenants, Vorkath and all the other new NPC’s that people are camping for money.

 

The OSRS gold rates could be crashing due to Zulrah / Vorkath. I can imagine them going back up again when Raids 2 are released though!

 

anyone has a clear answer for this question? i have the same question and could not find reasonable explanation and wonder if it will go back up in price soon or not

 

I've heard lots of stakers are dumping bills into the market right now.

it usually follows a trend of going downhill and then an increase in gold

probably will bump up to like .95/m once raids 2 are released

 

If it goes back itll only because its gonna be more dangerous to get rid of. So if you wait til then you might only get rid of 2b before ban. Id say take 10b with sht rate rather than 2b with decent

 

true but i dont bot soo i dont think the gp will be in danger as now im still considered a legitimate player which means 0 reason to ban

 

fingers crossed but when is raids 2 coming cos every time i search it only has 2018 and no date month etc

 

Unless you unload all 10b to 1 person (youd get lower rate anyways). You always risk the potential of getting fucked between trades

during a livestream they said they were aiming for june/july so probably some point in summer

Here is my opinion on it,

A lot of people will blame stakers dumping gold, that affects short term prices but the gold has to come from somewhere and stakers dumping will not affect long term prices.

Gold is coming in the game at a faster rate than ever

Before zulrah was nerfed, it was like 3.5m an hour I believe or somewhere around there at max efficiency and gear.
Vorkath now, at max efficiency and gear is around 4.5m and consists mainly of alchables.
Revenants also before nerf, were introducing large amounts of gold in the game. They weren't overtuned drop wise for too long of a period so who really knows the effect they had from a macro pov.

Drop tables like those, with the fact that players are getting more powerful, rigour, tbow, DHCB buff, ancestral are leading to faster kills and an increased rate of GP coming in.
Players also have a wealth of information now on how to farm bosses more efficiently.

Gold is coming in the game at a much faster rate than going out. Sames applies to items, especially with current death mechanics.
