If a user comes to us and inquires about a purchase, can we ask them if they've posted an order form yet?

 

I dont see why not, but honestly this just sounds like a loophole because it doesnt make sense to me. I dont see why you'd ask them that on your site, when the only questions on the form is the payment method and order. I just dont see a scenario where this makes sense. If the customer is inquiring, then you can just answer his question(s) there. If theyve already placed an order, then you already know the amount and payment method.

If your motive is a free bump, then Im sure this would get looked into and possibly revised.

 

It's something some sites do. They'll ask you to fill out a form or post, and you'll receive a 2% discount on your next purchase, or something like that. Also, I know a few people who do that in account renting, and such.

 

You can ask them if they posted an order form, but you cannot ask them if they posted an order form yet

You can have order forms on your thread, but you cannot tell your customers to do them.

 

yeah, pretty much don't do anything that encourages a user to post on your threads unless they've done so on their own volition.
