I had about 40 accounts run out of membership a few days ago. Time to turn them into merchers or some heavy botting baby.

From 8th June until 12th June, we invite everyone to come and experience Old School RuneScape with members’ features enabled.

Maybe there’s a quest you’ve always wanted to try, a boss you’ve wanted to challenge, or you’d simply like to spin some flax; this weekend you can.

To reduce the chance of this promotion being abused, we’ve limited it so that only accounts created before 1am, 5th June 2017, are eligible.

What is the Open Weekend?

From 8th June until 12th June, all free-to-play RuneScape accounts will have the option to enable all members’ features in-game.

So I can access everything in the game?

You do – of course – still need to meet any level, quest or other in-game requirements to play Old School RuneScape’s members’ content, and Ironman restrictions still apply.

How do I get in?

Just log in to a members world!

I’m a free player, but I don’t want members’ features.

No problem. Your account won’t be affected unless you log in to members’ worlds.

I can’t log into my account. Help! I don’t want to miss out!

Why is my account still showing as free-to-play?

The Open Weekend doesn’t truly make your account into a members’ account. It simply lifts the restrictions of a free account during the stated time period.

What about Recruit a Friend?

Recruit a Friend does work for Old School! Currently you’ll be greeted with a RuneScape branded landing page, but the one week free membership does still apply for every member you recruit to either RuneScape or Old School RuneScape. Please read the full terms and conditions for this offer.

Jagex has been making membership a lot more accessible lately. It's good that they're focusing on growing the player-base, which is very lacking compared to most other MMOs.

This is the third membership promotion in the past what, 2 months?

Twitch prime codes for 30 days, then the buy 2 get 1 month free promotion, and now this promotion.

Seems like the game is headed in the right direction.

They're becoming more open-minded with appeals too. It's about time they realize what's killing their game is lack of interest, not botters.

Recently had one of my mains unbanned, So can't say I disagree.

Also we've had a lot of good updates and good economy for long term game health.
