Only four globals?

Suf you sound a tad bitter. You're not apart of the current staff therefore you don't really know what's going on behind the scenes maybe everything really is okay at the moment. I think you're confused between suggestions and feedback.

Pen said that there'll be more promotions in the future when needed, I think you should just leave it at that.

 

Stop kissing ass, there are barley any global moderators; suf is right, you aren't. Quick the ass kissing, brown nose.

 

Waa wAA wAa. Suf isn't right if he was everyone would have agreed. There's something called equality, just because Suf suggests something within the feedback section doesn't make it above anyone esle's opinion.

 

Refer to my long quote thread. I have already answered every point you have made. I am not bitter. I am basing my thoughts on history and experience. I am looking towards the future, and suggesting there is some planning ahead for situations that may arise. This is not a suggestion, it is feedback. More moderators is something that is already done and its nothing new. I am giving feedback about the number of moderators and suggesting that the staff should make an effort to try and a few more globals, as it would be beneficial to the site.

There was nothing disrespectful about my post. I'm really tired of your attitude, basically soon as something doesn't go your way you throw a huge tantrum. Pen already answered your question so did everyone else. If you feel like suggesting something rather than venting on about it, than take it to the right area.

 

Vaders etc are FireZ speciality. If nonstaff members like me help catch vaders (Caught 5) we can help the mods. You don't have to be a mod to help catch vaders.

 

I DONT BOT, no-one has mentioned Ban Evaders, typically.. they're the easiest to find and Sectionals can find them with ease, The only reason I would see that we need more globals is decision making, its a much fairer and equal vote if 6 Globals are voting on one thing rather than 4.

Moderation-wise, We're fine, We've got a strong team without any slackers,

Even though you can help the staff by reporting evaders it's probably really annoying for moderators when they get threads asking to do constant IP checks. I mean it's okay to help out, but don't make it a part time job.

We're not discussing Sectionals/Whether you helping us is good or not, its globals and the reason we only have 4.

Matt you seem bitter. Like you're here only to disagree with Suf. If he were arguing that the color of the Sythe logo was yellow, I feel like you'd disagree.

 

SuF brings up a very good point regarding myself about experience. I am picking up experience at a very rapid pace though.

When I came to staff there were 12 or so Globals and I have sat here and watched them fall 1 by 1. I think at this time we are just in a cycle thats turned upside down. Within the next couple months I would predict we'd get a few more globals.

Right now we have a much younger (in terms of moderation years) staff then almost ever, so its going to take some time for us to grow. Also a lot of globals have IRL stuff that is just much more important then Sythe at this time.

 

The problem with having a "younger" team is that the new guys have very little space to fall back on if they need it. Everything could end okay, or it something bad could happen and only time will tell. Just having more globals would prevent bad occurrences and take some of the load off of people.

 

To my knowledge I don't think any of the globals are complaining about the work load. If they did say they have too much on their plate, I'm sure more globals would be promoted.

 

The less each person has to do, the higher quality can be done with the work that is left for people. Plus, its always nice to be able to take a bit of a break when you want it.

 

Us Globals have just never been ones to complain - we're all a little more mature than that
I will admit, maintaining the site in respect to Global Moderator duties was getting very tense over the last month or so. I hope with FireZ's promotion a large load is taken off, as it was getting hard being everywhere at once. I agree that there most definitely needs to be more Globals instated and we ARE on a quest to sort out the problem, but unfortunately at the moment it's all about suitability and currently there is no one ready to step up to the plate just yet.

 

Well, I didn't mean complain in a, "whine about it" type of way. But that was one of my points, FireZ is a monster at dealing with reports; that should hopefully reduce the load for you guys.

 

We mod this site as volunteers and totally of our free will. I do take 2 - 3 days a month "off" where I get on but don't do a whole lot.
