Google Chrome just stopped working

Hi, so 3-4 days ago Google Chrome just stopped loading. I would double click the Google Chrome icon and it would just never open, I spam clicked it even and the same happened, nothing.

I then tried to re-install it but for some reason it just sits on "Downloading Google Chrome", but it doesn't actually load. It just sits there. I'm currently using FireFox at the moment but I'm not enjoying the experience, I want to use Google Chrome again but am not sure how I fix this..

Any advice on how I can fix this?

 

Bump! Please, does anyone have a solutuion to this? I'm still using FF because I can't download Google Chrome. I'd rather not restore my computer to factory new and then re-download it. Please, if anyone has a solution share it.

Did you check your firewall? You might not be letting Chrome pass through. Not sure if that'd affect you downloading Chrome, though.

 

I'm really tired and honestly don't feel like providing you with a real solution, but Chromium is the browser that Google bases Chrome off of. It's the exact same thing just without Flash by default and without Google's data mining shit. You can still sign in with your Google account to get your themes/settings/bookmarks/extensions.

If that doesn't work then idk ur fukt m8 maybe I'll give you a real suggestion tomorrow.
