I feel like it depends on the person. Some people I see riding their bikes and walking to find Pokemon, but others just drive around. Let's see your opinions!

Well, like you said, it depends. If you actually walk around a park or bike places, then it definitely is fitness.

Maybe if you jog and have times for running/walking then yes

Depends on your method of travel. I know of people using their car and local transit to get to various destinations.

Depends on how you play it. First few days I broke a blood vessel in my foot because of how much I was walking around.

After I found a triple lure spot in a nearby city I don't walk around as much anymore when playing.

It depends on the player really, but for the most part I would say no.

I play it so I have a reason to walk around so I would say yes.

I walked 15 miles in two days after the launch of Pokemon Go. That's fitness in my eyes. I wasn't just standing in one spot for four minutes at a time either just to catch what was around me, it was consistent walking. I usually walk to work if it's not too hot outside, which is about 2 miles, and I'll play Pokemon Go the whole time. Otherwise I'd just drive to work. I hate seeing people driving around playing, it kinda defeats the purpose.
