On the RS gold market...

Hey, I just purchased 225M from a friend. I am wondering if we should trade it face to face like I offer nothing and he offers the money and just trade. Basically the question is: Is that a small enough amount of money that we can just trade it face to face without risking an RWT infraction, or should we take some extra precautions like duel arena transfer, drop trade, etc.

Do a box at duel arena, pretty much untraceable.
Although if is a friend and you have had each other added for a long time, jagex will not care at all if you transfer money over.

 

225m is fairly small you should be fine especially if you don't usually buy\sell and dueling is just as risky as face2face

 

If he isnt a big seller then you should be fine. If your worried then you could always do a stake.

 

If its just a friend giving you gp there's nothing against the rules from that. Doing a stake would be the safer method though, although I sold 6bil via trade without any RWT consequences

 

if youre that cautious. go random world in lvl 1 wild. have ur friend drop it... it will appear INSTANTLY on the ground for you to take.

 

Box and put up the same amount to make it seem legit. Then have your friend spaz on the mouse.

 

Amounts don't really mean much. If both of you have no past record of RWT you should have no problem.
