Old Rs Or New?

There are three versions of RS (four if you count classic, however I assume you meant only RS2 versions)-Pre GE, GE, and what we have currently (There was even a short period between the release of the ge and ft being removed. Kind of like what we have now).

By old, which one do you mean? Pre GE or GE?

I didn't rwt in pre ge, I'd say I had the most fun simply since all my friends played, I didn't have a lot of work in school, and I hadn't experienced WoW yet.

Once the GE was released, I quit for WoW, but I came back in April of '10. That time period wasn't fun unless you had cash, so I rwted. None of my real life friends played, but I did get a ton of levels. I mostly played to get off my WoW addiction.

And finally in current times, I have been scammed by two really close friends for a total of 570m (more than my bank has ever been...), but the price of mils are really cheap so I may finally get the red party hat I desire.

Tl;dr- depends by what you mean "old runescape"

 

I prefered RuneScape back in 06-07. Fun times.

RuneScape Classic was the best. Better than RS2 ever was.

 

RS Classic shits all over RS2. The only complaint people had were the graphics, but gameplay-wise, I never had more fun.

 

I definitely preferred the old RS. The new RS tries to make everything to detailed

 

I voted new, because frankly the only bad part of new rs is the fact that everywhere you go to train it's ONLY bots nowadays, when back in like pre-2007 yeah there where bots, but there were actually people to talk to, and that was always the fun of it, meeting new people.

 

I miss the good old times, but that's just me.

I'm in between. I liked the old when it was old. But now that new rs is out, im liking where it is now.
