    Ok, real answers this time.

Ive seen so many threads about staking, which characters are best in staking to get money etc, and i would really like to know before wasting my time with my defense pure, which stat build makes the best in staking?

Yes up tight old school stakers from like the 1500s your gonna give a story about how staking is much more then that, idc, i just would like to know stat buildups in which are very very good for staking

So far what i know of are
    70-70-70 for boxing
    and 1-1-60 for pure defense

Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated, cheers!

dungeoneering weapons will certainly be an advantage in suprising oponents.
if your making a new account id suggest going for a gravite 2h/sighted maple longbow and staking ftp.
i personally own a tank from the old school days and ill be using that but if i did make a nub it would be ATK:60 STR:70+ DEF:20-1 (if you have the funds for corrupt *pvp* armour go for 20).
for F2P its basically the same but reduce atk to 40-45 as rune scimy/gravite and reduce def to 1 since mithril isn't worth the massive combat boost are the best you can use and extra combat levels are not practical for staking.

    My old staker was

80-60-80 which was for high levels.

My friend's very successful staker was

    70-45-70(Verac's + whip+dds)

You want higher att/def than higher str/att.

i staked on my tank which was very succesful ive managed to buy 99 prayer and herby =] + i have change to sell gold if oldscape returns.
higher def/att is true for high maintanence accounts but with corrupt pvp armor and new high powered weapons the general rule is spec them out before they spec u out if they can d claw spec u out then who cares how accurate u are u wana be able to hit back. but if were talking high maintanence then a basic barrows pure would do i guess.

Well atm im working on my 1 - 1 - ( def ) pure atm it just seems that no one with MAJOR experience from staking is posting there stats, i mean 80 60 80 sounds great, gotten a lot of suggestions from that might experiment with it.

well im xx xx 99 99 99 99 92 atm but back then i was 60-60-80-80-80-94-52 if i remember correctly taking into account all combat stats in the order attack->strength->defence->ranged->constitution->magic->prayer
EDIT: decided to ommit certain stats because it would make it easy to identify me

dno much abt def pures :/ i think they work well though at lower levels vs meleers and rangers as long as you use a poisioned weapon. not so reliable in free to play.

The experience will be a changed one now though, Dung items and Pvp will really come in useful for the high-end stakes.

I think there should be a new option to only fight with "classic" weapons or something >_>

    I like low level stakers.

I used to stake on range pures with 1 def/pray and 61+ range and high HP level.

Might take that ranged staker into consideration, any other suggestions are extremely appreciated.

range and mage stakers are the way to go u can train both and they shouldn't affect cb independently. u can also pull a few tricks with mage stakers.
turn all weapons off but dont turn mage off keep the runes in your inventory and mage the hell outa them! :D
