I don't think getting Battier is going to help a ton, contrary to everyone else.
Yes, Battier is a very good player, but they needed help at the point and Center, not the 3 where they have the best player in basketball.

 

Lakers show is over.

- Not getting Dwight
- Traded Lamar Odom for NOTHING
- Lost Shannon Brown

 

It is not restricted like that in real life.

Like the 95-96 bulls, Ron Harper, MJ and Pippen ( played pg,sg,sf respectively) could all switch around the spots, as they could all defend any of those positions equally

Now the heat are the same, Wade, Lebron and Battier all can equally defend each position well ( maybe battier on PG, but Battier's defense is renowned, many statistics on Battier's defense shows his an amazing lockdown defender for star players ( e.g. kobe)

 

Battier can not play the point, he is a small forward.
Dwade could probably still play the point, but they still don't have someone good to play the center. Chris Bosh is a pussy.

 

The great have fallen. Kobe is flying solo in terms of marriage to.

Illuminati what else can it be? mid-level exception had a lot to do with it probably. Battier is a great compliment to the Heat, but he needs to pick up his old defensive game it's not as good as it was before. The Heat still need a damn center.

 

Can't wait to see the Clippers! Blake Griffin, Jamal Crawford, Chauncey Billips, and maybe Chris Paul!

Dallas is doing horrible. Glad too because I hate Dick I mean Dirk.

 

Bulls beat them by ~40 points the other night. And yeah, Dallas is sucking the anus. I haven't really been following Dallas, anyone care to offer some insight as to why?

 

Might just be a championship hang over. Team looks out of place on the floor, could just be growing pains for the season. Of course the pieces they lost in the off season contribute to their terrible start, but we can see them pick up a torrid pace and climb up the standings soon.

I always thought Tyson Chandler was underrated. Looks like they are struggling without him.
