Honestly all the promos originally had buu on them so I think he is going to come back. This addition of frieza to only be removed was probably added in so time could made to properly write out the tournament.

It could easily be explained that whis has some way to wake buu up from his sleep. Or maybe they transport him to beeruses place witg the exploding alarms

 

can you please put this into a spoiler, ty. If things get desperate, i'm all for Yamcha, it was hinted he wanted to join too (when master roshi was training)

 

When the original topic owner says he doesnt agree with spoilers being shown in the thread without a warning and there is an easy enough way to hide spoilers in spoiler-tags but they just ignore it...

I dont like the idea of constantly reusing characters and bringing them back. The team can create some awesome one time characters who dont need to be mentioned again (think pikkon) meanwhile frieza has been brought back 7 times in the current canon (like 12 if you count gt and movies stuff)
