It's tradeable ingame and retains the time. http://img38.imageshack.us/i/tradeproof.jpg/

This may be the oldest one in Runescape as I started it not long after they came into existence.

Sorry but what is it used for?

[Bananafana]

It's not used for anything. It's just something to have that noone else does. That is tradeable.

[laminin]

how much are u looking for? im not sure if it is worth much of anything

http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Timepiece

So when you trade it, im 99% positive that it will loose the time kept.

[Bananafana]

Nope. I've transfered it between accounts already.

You can easily test it with any timepiece with anybody.

[JBERNZ038]

Isnt it still Buyable at Faruqs shop?

[Bananafana]

Timepieces are, yes. This one in particular has nearly 600 days and running on it.

[Lured Yah]

Surprisingly, the timepiece continues to run upon death, under your gravestone.

It continues when traded as well.
I'll start the bidding on 10 cents

[D God]

I'm interested.
$0.50 is my offer.

[xron89]

$1 is my offer

[PecuniaZ]

$1.10 is my offer

[Sir MMA]

I will bid 5M Gp.

[Bananafana]

Hmm. Depending on the offers I get, I may just hold onto this for awhile longer.

Currently it has now been running for 587 days, started July 16 2009.
Timepieces came to Runescape July 15 2009.

Because time pieces are not bankable, noone can have some old time piece that was running in their bank the entire time.

This thing is very rare. It may be the oldest timepiece in all of Runescape. It would be difficult to find another one even close, if any exist at all.

[coonlagoon]

$10? haha

[Sara2thespaceman]

5m rsgp if above offer doesn't work out.

[gatsby]

15m gp in trade

[iJason]

But you can't bank it so you would have to keep it in your inventory or on a noob account

[Jelsoft Enterprices]

If have one from 15 July 2009, So appearingly you do not have the Oldest Time Piece on Runescape.

[ZThomas]

That's a really cool item, nice!
