Oculus or Vive?

So I'm planning on getting into some VR stuff and my computer is definitely VR ready, but I'm literally a noob when it comes to Virtual Reality technology. For those out there with experience with either the Oculus Rift, or the HTC Vive which one would you recommend? So far from what I've heard both are pretty decent but I don't know exactly which one to purchase.

 

Depends on how much space you have to move around if you have a lot get the vive if not get the rift. Though, the rift a bit cheaper and when you're getting practically the same experience just get the cheaper one.
