Obstacle Staking Questions

I have a few questions about obstacle staking. I hope someone can answer.
1. In ranged obstacle staking: Why do people switch back and forth between cbow and knives? Why not just use whatever averages higher damage per second?
2. In ranged obstacle staking: Why do people run around in the obstacle arena? I know people glitch abuse with ice ancients and ZGS to get people stuck to be unable to hit. But even in range-only stakes, where this can't be done, the players both run around the whole time during the stake.
3. In ranged obstacle staking: I saw videos of a guy enchanting crossbow bolts at the beginning of each stake. At first I thought it was so his opponent thought he had unenchanted bolts but this was before the show inv update so I think it's something else. His YouTube name is Yushey. Why does he always enchant bolts during the countdown?
4. In ZGS/mage obstacle staking: Why is it that sometimes if frozen against a wall, my enemy can hit me and I can't hit back? Is there any way around this glitch? I still managed to usually win because I just tanked the hits and have better stats.

Rune knives had higher dps but crossbow better for going for a ko and has longer hit distance also if you block yourself against a wall you make runeknifes on same tick as rune cross aka they at tsame time

He does it as a stall (which stops his character from doing moving animation while his character is still doing it) so he can get a first hit without his oppented knowing he moving in.

Didn't know people did this, It's becasue there glitched titles in 07 were players can hit you and you can't hit them, if you played lms you would have seen a few people in high stakes doing it.

What? You can attack twice on the same tick? I think I understand the rest of what you're saying but I don't get this part.

2. re: running around
So they're trying to get out of knife range, and/or getting against a wall for what you were referring to above?

3. re: enchanting bolts before duel
So it's to make his opponent think he is out of range when he is in fact within range?

What? You can attack twice on the same tick? I think I understand the rest of what you're saying but I don't get this part.

So they're trying to get out of knife range, and/or getting against a wall for what you were referring to above?

So it's to make his opponent think he is out of range when he is in fact within range?I tho

1. no if you hide behind a wall its stop rune knifes from hitting, so they lose the ticks on knife witch even tick it with cross bow,
So they hit at the time making runeknife not worth the hit if you get me,

2.Yes by hiding behind wall or running out of the knifes distacne,

3.I thought you meant enchanting bolt jouring the duel while count down is happening? it use to produce a stall , some other one I can remember is the slayer bell, cutting fruit and broken glass one.

Okay I think I get it now. So re:1, it basically makes it so knives are not faster than cbow. And re:3, it's to ensure that he gets first hit regardless of who has pid?

No it's an attempt to make rune cross and knifes the same speed sine the cross bow is slower but hit harder,
