Add another guide section.

Simple:

Add a section for guides about Sythe.

I use "Internet" for guides like that.

 

I'm not saying they wouldn't fit there, but a dedicated section to Sythe Guides would be great.

 

But, if it already fits there, why make another section?

 

There is a really limited number of Sythe guides, I don't think there would be that many topics made. I think it works better to post Sythe related guides in the Internet Guides section.

 

For now... however the number of guides could fill up a small section.

Maybe a sub-section under internet would be great, just to keep organization.

 

Internet was where they kept those types of guides before, as well. I honestly think it's fine. It's not going to fill the entire section. You could add a sub-section, but I think it's unnecessary.

 

I'd like to see a subsection tbh. All of the sythe guides I've seen so far have been really helpful, it would be nice to see them all in one section.

 

I actually support this idea, makes Sythe-related guides easier to find and more accessible for those looking. There is still a bit of confusion on where to post Sythe guides as I've seen a few in Miscellaneous and other Internet, adding a "Sythe" guides sub-section eliminates all confusion and makes things easier for everyone.

Edit: Maybe even adding the sub-section to Sythe.org Support.

My opinion on this when John asked me about it was wait until there are more guides and see if there are enough to warrant a section. Back in the days we thought IRC guides needed their own section and I believe there was 17 or 27 guides in that section for its entire life. So, early looks can be deceiving so it makes sense to wait awhile. I do however, wish computing was named General Computing

I don't often support suggestions, so savor it on your palate.

I personally had a tough time placing my Sythe guides, and when others asked me where to post them, I couldn't give them a completely accurate answer.

 

Just post them on internet since Sythe is a website.

The new suggestion is actually create a Sythe Guides section under Internet.

 

I like that idea, well It makes everything sythe-related more easy to find, like management tutorial and so on, which make life slightly easier for almost everyone here. but well that just a suggestion

 

I'll keep this up, so once we have enough Sythe Guides it is accepted.

People who are new to Sythe don't know how to use the forum properly and they may not know what section they can find help in.
With a section clearly labeled Sythe Guides then a lot more people would be educated about Sythe, possibly leading to less work for the mods
