Not really a suggestion, but...

Can Sythe or the person in charge of donations, make a thread showing the total amount (honest number) of money being donated to Sythe, and if possible the thread can be updated to show where the money goes.

I am thinking about donating a few hundred dollars, but don`t know if the money is being used for the well being of the site (maintenance costs/equipment/energy bills related).

On the side:

If someone replies to my post saying, oh it`s going to be really hard - well guess what, it`s not. Mainly because Sythe does not get millions in donations, only a few per week, and updating is not really that hard because all you would have to do is edit the total number (amount) and provide some explanation as to where that money went.

"oh it`s going to be really hard". No, seriously. There are tons of donations all the time and many have already happened and getting accurate numbers for all of them would be annoying. I assume Matthew could make a script that shows how many donations have come in, but there isn't much point for him to put the time in.

 

There is a sticky in the Donators Lounge, which is as accurate as it can be.
