"Nostalgia wore off"?

Yeah well bored of it.

 

I lost my interest about a week into it, so I sold my 200k GP or whatever it was at the time, and quit.

 

Right now, the more I play it, the more I'm finding little goals and achievements I want to set. I don't see an end in sight for me. A fantastic summer game

 

I don't really get nostalgia from it anymore, but I still love the game. It seems Runescape back in the day was ALSO a good game.

 

2007 servers were pure nostalgia and nothing more.

Nostalgia is and has worn off quickly. People forgot how grind-y, repetitive, and archaic 2007 RuneScape was as a standalone game. In comparison to current EoC servers, it's even worse looking. There's fun in reliving the glory days but there's a lot more of it in reinventing them.

 

I got bored within about 3 days It just didn't have the same appeal it had when I played it back in 2004. I sold my gp and went back to EoC...
