North Korea

The troops over there were given 3 days if a war broke out meaning their life span would be shortened to 3 days..

We only have mid 18,000 troops over there which wouldn't prevent anything at all.

With radar and such the plane would be detected even with all this stealth stuff.. and then knowing North Korea the plane might not even cross the ocean..

 

Because with a great big 30m plane, it could easily be shot down with the technology we have these days. Whereas with a nuclear or ballistic missile going at almost the speed of sound or even above, it is still difficult to target and destroy such a small and fast object. Kinda like trying to shoot a bullet out of the air with another bullet.

 

The Koreans are just flexing. They don't have the means to do anything serious. The guts? Maybe, maybe not. Either way it would be incredibly stupid for them to make the first move.

 

They can reach alaska apparently.

IIRC we dropped leaflets telling people that the cities were going to be completely destroyed the day before we dropped the bombs.

North Korea doesn't have the fuel to fuel its planes. It's pilots suck and we would know if they loaded a nuke onto a plane and we would either blow it up on the runway or shoot it down before it even got out of the country. We have more than just the troops on the ground too (which wikipedia says is more than 18k). We have a massive navy and airforce which is where our true power comes from.

 

I hope this is true. What is the reason for North Korea for doing this?

It's interesting reading comments from other people who don't even live in America.. most of em say they don't care if we go down or not.. and the others say they would join in and help..

Also what's going on tonight at 8? Isn't there the nuke test over Japan?

Sorry im british, but this was an intresting read.

The USA has been the biggest and most powerful country for a while now, if North Korea even touch it it would be wiped. The USA could easily take out north korea if they can somehow do an invasion or some sort, but it kind of scares me N.K are so confident when they know the allies and the firepower the USA has. Maybe N.K have developed a new weapon or something? Only time will tell.

 

I think that they are just acting cocky to provoke SK or the USA into attacking them, then they will unleash their forces under the condition that they were attacked first.
