[Support]Unicef Minirank.

Hey!
I have a cool new suggestion for a new minirank, called "Give Water".
Unicef is doing an action for children in need.
What you have to do?
1. Go to this site with your phone: http://tap.unicefusa.org/
2. don't touch your phone for 10 minutes and give children in need water.
How you got the minirank?
Show proof of the 10 minutes or longer.

Good cause, I think it would be a good addition to help out others, don't know how others feel though. Support ^^

 

I brought attention to the cause here: http://www.sythe.org/general-discussion/1686501-10-minutes-provide-day-water.html and provided a signature for people to use to spread the word. I'm not sure a minirank like this would work technically - I can just see Admins receiving a hundred PM's for the minirank. Do we know how long this is running for?

That's fine, do you know how long Unicef are running the campaign? If it's for a lengthy period I might consider getting it added.

 

I sent them a mail. Have to wait till they response. I'll sent you a pm when I got a message back.

It's a great campaing, but that's just too short of a timespan to join in on the fun.

Don't really care for the specific charity or the idea of a minirank for it. That being said remember that miniranks are given out for posting on one specific day, so it doesn't particularly matter that its a short time frame.

Like Roary said an admin manually processing these is a concern as well.
