Like the title says. I think this would filter out the stupid responses and just show honest opinions. Note: I don't think there's a lot of 'spam' but some people just don't contribute or criticize the OP when that's not the question. It's my favorite section, because some posts can change someone's life. Post your thoughts please.

    I don't support.

In my opinion, (if the creator doesn't want stupid responses) you can just makes rules to the thread. Anything you don't want to have discussed in the thread you can simply post that anything affiliated with what you don't want will be reported and marked as spam.

But if someone's straight-up spamming or not posting pertaining to the topic, then simply report them.

I disagree. It is an important section that can have well thought out replies that deserve to be recognized as a post. I think removing post count will have the opposit effect of what you desire and people will feel it is ok to spam a little or leave lower quality posts sense they "don't count" anyway.

If there are bad posts, they need to be reported and the user dealt with. I am pretty sure Finn takes spam and insulting posts very seriously in that section.

They monitor posts heavily. Post counts removed are for places where two words are allowed, and rules aren't heavily enforced.

Nah I believe there should be post count in there. I mean most posts there are actually thorough and helpful, not to mention the quality of them. I always report posts that are two words or completely out of the picture anyways and the staff get to them. Always see mods in there as well.

Just report the post if you think that its spam.

I really don't see this happening.

If a response is good, it should count towards PC.
If it is not, it's spam, thus you just report it.

It's fine, it's not a section that is heavily spammed. If you see a post you regard as spam, report the post and a mod will deal with it accordingly.

I actually agree to some extent; MOST replies, land up just summarizing previous posts and offer no constructive feedback. Although, I guess that lands up happening in most topics that's why it would be silly to remove it.

It's not a section that's heavily spammed, I used to be hard on those who posted offensive and/or spam posts in that section. Just report them, It'll be handled by a moderator. That being said, no support.
