i thnk it depends on the person, but yeah alot of people have no lives like i look on highscores and theirs people who sit their burning logs to 200mil xp..

 

When i feel that i'm playing it too much, i take a break for 1 week to a month. I want it to be fun, not just a fix.

 

rofl i got bored training my ranged pure to 70 ranged... it almost made me quit... idk how ppl have time to get 99 stats rofl... & i agree with ryan 100%

this thread is as logical as 'people who are better then me at runescape are nerds with no life!'.

why is everyone who plays runescape a no lifer? people can play however long they please, just because someone plays excessively doesn't mean they don't have a social life.

sometimes i play over 10 hours a day when i don't have anything else to do, yet i have alot of friends, a girlfriend & do other things.

 

I play 2-3 hours max a day, i have along term gf and I still get trashed with my mates (some one still play rs). But I have met peple who play rs like 10 hours a day, they get bored of rs and quite 2 months later after no lifing a couple of skills. All because you play rs does not mean your a dip shit or your grades will go down, my grades went down because I was not paying attention and I was sick of school. Playing rs is just a fucking excuse.

Well when it comes to children I think that is has some addicting qualitys. Most mmos do, thats what makes them popular. Let the people have no life if they want, we have no right to judge.

To SANYAK: 10 hours a day means u have an addiction. It means ur social life could be better. It means you waste 10 hours of valuable time. Think of people without computers... they actually try to work hard to earn a better living (Example: Chinese villagers).
So when you say you play 10 hours a day sometimes.... its called an addiction and being unproductive not to mention not maximizing ur social potential skills & your life skills such as getting a degree. unless of course u play runescape and study only, in that case u wouldnt hve a social life.

10 hours is rougly 41% of your daily life. Say you are getting 8 hours of sleep, that is 33%. So you have 16% left? You also have to do your hw/go to school. So unless you don't do your hw/study and socialize then it works out. But obviously you do, so i don't see how you have any time for socializing. That is how i calculate it.

I don't agree with you on this. It is not for you or for me to judge people.

Let them play as much as they want, its good for us, if they didn't runescape wouldn't be such a popular game that brought us $.
