NMDA Antagonists (Ketamine, DXM, PCP, ETC)

Here's a tip for all you druggies on the board. The NMDA neural pathway affects the plasticity of all other major receptors in the brain. NMDA antagonism has been proven to reduce tolerance to a host of drugs, as well as exhibiting neuroprotective effects.

So, for what it's worth, taking 60mg of DXM in the form of gelcaps per day can cause significant reduction in tolerance and withdrawl symptoms to a host of substances.

Also, NMDA receptor antagonists have fun dissociative effects as well, but, as always, use caution when using anything in a recreational fashion.

Just a tip for people who may find themselves "chasing the dragon".

 

DXM no thx. But I guess 60 mg shouldn't be too dangerous. I don't play with drugs with too many death reports.
Interesting thought tho.

 

Unless you have a cytochrome enzyme problem, 60mg would produce no effects other than a reduced cough and a reduced tolerance for opiates, amphetamines, dopaminergics, phenethylamines, tryptamines, and a world of other drugs

 

Good info. I take opiates on a daily basis and I often take a couple benedryl an hour before doing them. There is a very noticeable difference. I also do ketamine and DXM very often. Ketamine/opiates and DXM/methamphetamines are two of my favorite combinations. I highly recommend it to those with experience. I've also used a lot of ketamine and DXM to help with opiate and benzo withdrawals. Also Ambien greatly enhances the visuals in an LSD trip. Just a tip.
