Night Time Theme/mode for Sythe.

hello all

So I was on another website that is crypto based and I found that there was an option to change the theme and all UI to "night time" mode (or something along that terminology) to give the site a darker feel to it, dropping the bright white and blue colors, for a suttle black and gray color theme.

Perks:
-Gives a nice fresh change to the UI and theme colors
-Sythe's website it made up of a lot of blue light, which is one of the most stressful colors on your eyes and having the option to change to black or grey(gray) theme may benefit many users
-many users would like this, especially for certain car used where they want to have sythe in the background or on another window but can keep the UI simple enough to not be as bright and vibrant, giving them longer hours of viewing the forms

Con:
-more work on the Dev team and I'm not familiar whith what needs to happen on the design and web development end to make this work..



Theme color options?!

I know for me personally, I couldn't care less about what color the sythe UI is, and other than changing it to a darker theme like black or grey really only has use cases for those users who want to not have to view blue lights as often. However, some users would really love to customize their sythe UI to match their logo, signatures, names, or even just to change it everyday to give a new fresh color to there sythe UI


What I am specifically suggesting is:

a button at the top of the page near "bug tracker" that works like a switch, turning sythe from "normal mode" to "night time mode" (this would change the dark blue colored forms to black with gray accents, or any other color combination that isn't vibrant and easy on the eyes).

W/ the possible addition of a drop down menu which features at least 5 extra colors users can change their UI too (these colors should be voted on from a list of those who don't interfere with any other sythe.org assets, such as the thumbnails for forms and other features).


* before you comment I am aware that there are third party programs that allow for users to remove harsh blue lighting when gaming and surfing the web, but to have it integrated into Sythe's UI would be a nice addition IMO

Maybe it isn't practical on the technical side of things with the time and effort it takes to make, but I wouldn't be surprised if there was a simple way to get this added

Exactly that..Not much point having a night time theme mode on Sythe lol, It's only a website

 

No support, XenModern is alright dark enough. The background is blue-dark/ish? And the other theme is dark.

 

Yeah, I'd think if anything Sythe needs a day mode!

SytheFlat can use a rework/remodel. It's horrendous on mobile.
