So, how come when I was sorting out his paypal over the phone they asked to speak to my dad to CONFIRM that I was given permission to speak about it? To confirm his credit card and bank card? Why did they say that was OKAY? Are you working for paypal now Yaroow?

PayPal will hire any fuckwit that applies because they are always in need of people for the customer service.

Most people that work there are not familiar with PayPal's own ToS due to the short time they have been working there or because they simply don't care. Believe me, I've been limited twice, temporarily banned once, one account was banned for life and if that wasn't enough, at one point I have been banned from using PayPal all together. All of this after following the directions the customer service told me over the phone.

Because shit like this happens, people get angry and verbally abusive towards PayPal's Customer Service. They don't like this and quit. Resulting in PayPal needing new people for the customer service.

And so the circle of life continues.
