NH pure build advice

Hey guys, I'm building a pure and need some advice. I'm planning on making it 60 atk 45 pray 1 Def nh bridding on it. Not really planning on deep wildy pking. I've read some forum posts saying smite is useless for nh'ing and adds unnecessary lvls but I think those posts were before some smite update in 2017. What are your opinions? Thanks

 

smite's only really good if you're going to be bullying people who don't have the range/mage to fight you. You're very unlikely to smite anything, and protection prayers are just better because of the damage reduction.

 

52 long term but start with 45.

 

If I was you I would aim for 45 prayer but do most of the prayer exp. quests before starting with bones. I believe you will most likely spam protect. prayers instead of smite depending how you NH brid.

 

52 pray is way more fun since smiting +1 will give you way more profit in the long run
